Show off something

Tell me about it lol, I went with some red chilli shoes, They cost me £80 alone (couple yrs ago now) Harness, chalk bag and belay. It all adds up but is worth it :D

Nice! more infor/pics? Swim deck, planing oftaking some trips abroad with it then? :D

Why thank you.

The boat is a 2007 Maxum 2700SCR.

It has a Mercruiser 350 mag, 300 HP inboard petrol engine and a Mercruiser Bravo III sterndrive.

Its not the fastest boat in the world but it wasn't bought for this purpose, we have a rib to play about on.

We don't plan on taking it abroad yet, but we are trying to put a few more hours on it in the local waterway, before the summer leaves us for another year. I have a few more pictures, but my photography skills are to be desired;

I'll get some more this weekend !

I can't stand up yet, though I'm hardly surprised it's really hard to get up on. then you see people getting up with no ease on towers it makes me die when I fall in.

I'll get it eventually though.

Keep trying and you'll get it.

The problem is with a jet-ski, the rope is pulling close to the water so it is going to be far more difficult. This is the purpose of a wakeboard tower, on speed boats; The tower pulls you up out of the water, which does make it far far easier.

I learned on a similar set-up to you. Although it wasn't a jet-ski, it was a rib without a tower and was pulling the rope, close to the water.

I've been on a Maxum 2700SCR and they are flipping gorgeous. They are family friends and we met them up especially to spend the day with them on the boat.

Gorgeous! And the cabin below sleeps three quite comfortably too.

I bet you're well chuffed.

What model is the stand? Will it work for Eyefinity setups? (3 monitors side by side with a bit of angle on the outer screens.) I assume it just clamps to the edge of the desk?

Where did you get the arm mate.. Been after one to fit a 24" with good movement..

Cheers

The stand is an Ergotron and came highly recommended from pretty much everyone!

I bought it from a US online store called buy.com but I know Kaaaahn (OcUK lad) bought his at a UK site. It's not stupidly expensive but one tip is to look at the height limit. The model Kaaahn uses really doesn't get much height but mine gets about 8 inches more, which isn't a massive boost but it's noticeable.

When I say it's got good movement I'm not exaggerating and when I say it's quality I mean it's solid metal and it's gonna be with you for a bloody long time.

Here's the thread I started about the stand, a tiny bit more info on there:
Spec me a... monitor desk-mount

And here's a review of it too... it's exactly the same as this reviewed stand only without the laptop arm.

I would post a piccy of mine, but it's still got the protective plastic layers all over it. I don't wanna cover it in fingerprints. :o

It has that "new" rubbery smell, which reminds me of my old skool Apple iBook. I can't help sniffing it occasionally. :D
