So I'm in major panic mode due to results tommorrow, which decide on what uni I go to.

UCAS, being the helpful people they are, send me an email with the title
"You have been accepted".

My heart stops.

I draw on myself to read on.

"To recieve discounts on HP laptops"

Could the timing be any LESS appropriate?!

FUUUUUUUUUUU

That's just cruel, I love it!

I feel for you though, I remember how nervous I was this time last year. Don't worry though, it's all worth it tomorrow once you know you're off to uni, and can start getting excited!

Haha:D

What offers have you had? Good luck.

Bristol - MSc 4 Years - Maths
AB - Maths, Further Maths
OR
AA - Maths, Geography

Leicester - MSc 4 Years - Maths
AB - Maths, Geography
OR
AB - Maths, Further Maths

I'm desperate to go to Bristol, and I *should* have done it, I am just panicing now.

Amazed I got into uni with my poor grades. I feel I have redeemed myself since my awful A-Level days though and have gone on to get good BSc and MSc results. A-Levels are merely the stepping stone to Uni, like GCSE's were to A-Levels. They become utterly obselete after uni though.

Good luck for tomorrow, whoever wrote that UCAS letter needs promoting.

Unlucky for some, I just got an email informing me that I've inherited nearly £10m from a Nigerian banker and all I need to do is give him my bank account details. Hold out for something good, it'll come.

I got the same email. I didn't panic though as I've already been accepted for Edinburgh Uni. I did wonder what the hell it was all about though :)

If I remember correctly you don't actually recieve an acceptance e-mail. I didn't for my course anyway.

haha I got something similar last year but knew it wasn't anything serious. As UCAS never send you emails like that, even if you have offers all you get is an email asking you to check 'Track'.

On the bright side, least now I know I'm not the only one who was stupid enough to think UCAS would accidentally sent results to my email, the day before results day :)

You should phone in and complain, saying that you believe you deserve a free laptop for the distress caused. And then give me the laptop.
