Another Bull gets it's own back.

As for banning bull fighting, do you all really purchase free range and fair trade products? No I highly doubt it, so before we kill off some of the most famous traditions why dont we tend for the chickens that never see the light of day?

I buy free range products, but generally not fair trade (what has that got to do with animal cruelty?). Anyway, at least caged hens have a purpose that isn't human entertainment.

It did say that it wasn't a traditional bull fight, therefore, you can't assume they poke it with metal sticks (whatever the word is). It says in the video that competitors run away from the bull, not at it.

indeed, i think they normally run around the red bit and dont kill it like matadors.

Fair trade has a lot to do with animal cruelty if we consider farm workers as animals.

Like a couple others had said this wasn't the traditional matador fight the bull does not get killed at the end. Instead a group of participants go in the ring with the bull and see how long they can stay in whilst avoiding the bull.
But on the otherhand you can just not listen to the video make up your own minds about these "savage" people who deserve to be injured, Im sure that little 10 year old deserved it, the monster.

Can't say I feel bad... I don't think the kid deserved it however, but can't blame it on the bull either :o

So overall, Good on the Bull :)

It was a mighty fine leap by that bull!

The kid didn't deserve it - certainly would be rather playing video games than watching bulls run around in circles, no?

Seeing as the intention here was not to actually kill the bull, i'm less bothered. However, the fact that they killed it because it got out of hand rages me. It makes me consider what would have happened if one of the contestants had been injured during the course of the 'game'. Would they have still killed the bull?

I thought they always kill the bull after these events. It's part of the "ritual"?

EDIT: I'm aware this isn't a "bull fight".. it's a Bull-Leap event, even though not many actually leap it these days.

Now that's what I call getting the crowd involved! Good for the Bull. :D

Maybe the Spanish should stick to throwing donkey's and goats off tall buildings. Much safer for the spectators.

well if the bull can jump over the fence what use is it? they're not going to put it back in the ring. They (organisers) might even give the meat to the victims as compensation!
