Don't be an ass, he meant a lower spec 460 - 768MB rather than 1GB ver.

I know that...but he DOES consider the GTX460 768MB being lower spec than 5830 since he was just advising someone that "GTX460 1GB>5830>GTX460 768MB" just yesterday...or may be it was the day before.

I believe the 400 series does.
Edit: Gtx 460 supports 7.1 over hdmi also I would go for the cyclone card.

Yes, it's only the gf100 gpu's (gtx470/480) that don't have hd audio over hdmi.

thats strange that the 460 dose but the 470/480 dont

will i be able to use the hdmi out for one thing and my sound card for something else at the same time like i can with my 4850??

The 460 is based on the gf104 core not the gf100 that the gtx470/480 are, not sure about your question though.
