I think the point is more genuine size 12s rather than 'I wear a size twelve by squeezing into it' sort of person.

Sizes vary depending on store and of course other aspects such as height. My GF is very skinny(generally 8-10) but because she's tall she'll, on the odd occasion feel a size 12 fits more comfortably.
This woman is probably a size 16 or 18, she is not fat.
Most people who are sized 16 are 18 are that size for different reasons

I think women these days are influcenced too much by models in magazines (the skinny one's)..
My gf is a size 8 and she thinks shes a bit on the large side... I just don't get women's mentality :/ the sad thing is whatever I say doesn't convince her at all..

Firstly, theres not a popsicles chance in hell I am quoting you and leaving that image in there. Secondly, size 16-18 for 90 % of women is overweight. Their reasons may be different for being that size but they will be fat.
A very, very very small percentage of women will be tall enough for 16-18 to be normal and an even tinier percentage will be bodybuilders like that woman.
Woman are very hard on themselves it seems when they whinge about how they are fat etc etc but most of that is fishing for complements I would imagine because if they were that bothered then they would lose the weight.
I am always astonished at the number of girls that go out in the tightest trousers/tights when they are a size 16+. If they were that self conscious about their size then why would they parade it for all to see rather than try to hide it.
He/she/it would do it for you.
