Thats right, Dulux Paintpod Compact FREE with any Dulux product. Even a £1.38 tester pot. At B+Q till monday only.

Saves £28 :)

Even "free" I wouldn't bother.

They can go through paint like anyone's business, and the coverage is hard to get as good as it is with a decent brush or roller.

Paint pod's are pretty good IMHO, great for ceiling and very little mess, paint is expensive but it's decent in terms of coverage/quality/wastage.

No good if you doing just one room but great if you sprucing up a whole house, my Dad and I shared the cost of one (not compact one though).

Yip have to agree I got one last year and used it for hall / stairs / landing and saved me a lot of time up and down ladders . Coverage was also very good. You pays your money you .... ooh ya don't pays your money :D

Would it work if you emptied and washed a tub of paintpod paint an filled it with generic (cheaper) paint?

But it'll cost you another £19.98 (more usually) to actually use it... and the PaintPod paint is horrible compared to the normal stuff... which was my point. Plus it'll probably break when you do first use it.
