when new nvidia drivers?

When do the new Nvidia drivers come out? it's been over a month since the last ones, coming from ATI I am not sure how frequently Nvidia update?

No need to panic about a lack of drivers being released. They come out when they are needed. It's not really a good thing that you get drivers every 2 weeks...that usually means there was a problem with the last lot.

They are needed (DX7 Fix) , a number of games on gog use DX7 Gothic 2 for example

Found the info on nvidia forums

we'll be releasing a new driver next week but it will be a beta driver. The driver which follows that will be WHQL based on the same branch. So if you are looking for a new driver, it will likely be available next week but if you want to wait for a WHQL driver, unfortunately it will be a few more weeks.

This, best to get a rock sold set out once in a while instead of rushing out a dodgy set frequently that breaks more than it fixes, not looking at any one company in particular.

Thanks for the info, as for the (when they are needed) they are needed, I am getting flickering shadows with crossfire in GTA 4 and they have promised a fix......

Update

Drivers have been pushed back to next monday , they are trying to put the bfbc 2 stutter fix in this may also fix stuttering with other games too.

That's good to know, I though it was just my eyes with the stuttering in BF2 BC, let's hope they sort the flickering shadows issue in GTA4, also some improvements for mafia 2 would be nice!
