As my 3870 refuses to stop black screening in games, it looks like I'm going to have to use it as an excuse to get a new card.
So, what's the best card for <£150, I was originally thinking of a 5770, but I see some of the 5830/460s (768MB) are now coming close to £150. What's the general opinion, would they be worth it over the 5770 (£20/30 more)? I'm tempted to go Nvidia as these errors are getting annoying, but I'm sure Nvidia have their problems too (not to mention their shady business practices).

I mainly play WoW and SC2 at the moment, but it'll be used to everything, but with a focus on those 2 games probably. Resolution is only 1400*900, so I don't see the point in getting anything more costly than these, for now.

Also, it's on a 500W OCZ PSU, I assume it will be up to the task of any of the above cards?

the best choice is to stretch your budget a little and go for a 1GB version 460 ..

nothing compares bang for buck around that price range ..

you wont be disappointed.

any one of these..

avoid the palit as there very loud and not very heat efficient ..

As nice as those cards are, I really don't need the extra performance, so want to keep it to around £150, less preferably.

Thanks Redmint and Jeffy, would you say that the 460 has enough performance to make it worth the extra £20 over the 5770? Also how's the noise on them, as it would be nice to get a nice quiet card?
