Help me drink wine!!!!

Howdy guys and galls xD

Ah!! major problem people!!!!

I just baught a bottle of nice sparkling wine. Thats not the problem though... I thought to myself, "Wow i am so amazing standing here with this bottle of wine. I think i will open it now"

That, my freinds is where this tale of woe truely begins...

It all started so well, i began twisting the cork out of the bottle, cringing horrifically with each millimeter it moved out of the bottle, then just as it looked like all my hard work should pay off, and i would be ale to toast my health to the great god Ch'talthu, the bloody cork snapped....

It is true, my freinds, woe did engulf me momentaraly... I wept for what seemed like years, but was infact only seconds. I cursed the very ground that the great cork maker was born on.... Blood lust sprayed forth from my over-engorged pores...

Any way... do any of you know how to get a cork out of a bottle of sparkling wine, when it has snapped off inside the nck of the bottle....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Google search "baught" and the cork shall simply fall out of the bottle upon enlightenment.

Sorry guys...

For some reason i thought you could not push a cork into a bottle of sparkling wine without the bottle exploding and killing all withing a four mile radius.... actually on that note, it might be worth giving it a go xD

So i should just cork the bottle or use a corkscrew right?

Push it in, it's fine. I've had to do it to an old port before and a couple of wines.

If it will not go in due to the pressure, stab it with a thin knife a few times. The cork will break into pieces and all you will have to do is pour it through a tea strainer. Or just fish the bits out with your hand.

How the hell you managed to snap a cork coming out of a bottle of fizz is beyond me.
