She's apparently been identified by the RSPCA and the Police are also supposed to be giving her 'protection'.

How strange... I know I would!
As for this story - the cat's a defenseless animal with no easy way of escaping that bin. If the owners hadn't heard it the poor thing would have died.
I can fully appreciate why people are disgusted by it!
gt
That's what I said in the post. But 'if' no one had heard it then it'd have been in trouble. To be fair all it had to do is miaw, and going off news reports that's how it was found.
What was his point then? That out in the countryside there are a lot of animals? Whose lives are generally not held in such a high regard as to have three pages worth of mad face OUTRAGE mad face when they die?
So the guy who filmed it didn't help the cat then?
Some cats are totally friendly, some will never come near a stranger, ever.
I guess Curiosity...
Really did kill the cat.
YEEEAAAAAAHHHH!
She'll probably just backtrace 4chan and tell the cyberpolice.
So the guy who filmed it didn't help the cat then?
Wow my point did go woosh over your head.
Youre the one that seems to live in a fairytail land thinking that animals arent going to do things we dont like.
I completely agree, but the simple fact is, some people don't.The point is we have a higher intelligence and we should use it, not torture an innocent animal.
Errr, well actually yeah. This has nothing to do with some "decline of modern life" parable, and more to do with basic human nature. People can be ****s, have been ****s, and will continue to be ****s in the future, be they city folk, farmers, priests or the random old lady next door. If you honestly think people didn't hurt animals before cities came along, you're sorely misguided, and that's what my original point was.People in the countryside grow up with animals they live with them, some of them are their lively hood. Before there were big cities do you think people went around torturing animals for fun?
That's funny, because I've just seen countless people threaten to hurt or kill a woman they've never met, based on a 10 second clip of her putting a cat in a bin, and I'm somewhat annoyed by their complete lack of perspective too.If a cow **** on some of these peoples lawns theyd be in outrage and threaten to kill the animal, this is what im talking about. I've seen people kicking their dog to discipline them etc. I'm not outraged, i'm annoyed by certain peoples reactions.
I would suggest that there are plenty of other people in this thread more in needs of anger management than me. Just because I posted in capitals a bit doesn't make me angry. You also seem like a very angry person. I suggest you go out more.
How am I supposed to "like" a thread like this? How have I at any point even said I dislike it? I was just countering your silly "no-one ever hurt anyone in the countryside" argument. Stop being so sensitive.I've only bothered replying because I really dont like the attitude that comes across in your posts. If you dont like the thread dont read it, use some god damn common sense instead of raging on other people.
TangoSixteen tried just that sort of thing in the dead baby thread. I RTM'ed him and ignore list'ed him, so I guess he wins, sort of?
I always wonder about the mental state of anyone that has to use an ignore list in order to be able to ignore someone. Can't you just...ignore them? That way, if he happens to post something amusing or inciteful, you won't miss it.
Not a criminal offence apparently. Interesting.
