Finance haters gonna hate :-)

You dont usually enter and exit through the hatch but you could - that's what makes it a 5 door. A saloon is a 4 door because you couldn't do this.

2 years old isnt new though, is it? Its 2 years old.

Want to buy my new xbox off me? Its only 2 years old

Lots of people missing the point here though with talk of £2k sheds.

The issue is you are paying £9.5k for a 2 year old i10 when a brand new i10 would have cost you less.

Is your xbox low milage ?

The i10 is as good as new, same spec, minter... As good as new

Brand new would have cost same, but I wasn't gonna pay 250 a month for a little runabout even though i could have afforded it......

Pedantic ? I'm sure most knew what I meant.... I was literally talking doors, definition from wiki

You have more spare time than me it seems :-)

No, that's just the standard motoring definition of a 2/3/4/5 door car

You were trying to make some sort of point based on that so I corrected you

Actually I've probably played it about 10 times in total, so less hours than your i10 has been driven.

But it's 2 years old. It isnt new. It might be in lovely condition but it's still not new, it's 2 years old.

Brand new would have cost same

So why did you buy an old one?

, but I wasn't gonna pay 250 a month for a little runabout

So you decided to pay £9.5k instead? Eh?

Your new car has two years worth of age, it'll need an mot next year, the interior will wear and fade sooner, suspension parts will fail sooner. Don't think low mileage prevents issues and wear from occurring because it's just not true. Things perish, especially on Korean washing machines made out of melted down Action Man dolls.

Seriously, why do you think low mileage makes it like new?

Like new as in i couldn't tell it from new one in show room..... It doesn't have a mark on it

If you seriously think a 2200 mile car can't be Like new then...... Ahh you get the point

I was at showroom with my wife, she agreed, your just dude with a keyboard :-)

Buying two years old low milage I saved 100 a month, plus it still has 3 years of Manu warranty, which I'm lucky enough to have my bro inlaw working for Hyundai warranties .... It's win win

Does the melted action men upset you ? :-)))

Comparing a car to a xbox is probably the most stupid thing I've ever read here......

The problem here isn't that it's not new, it's just that you've paid more than a new one would cost.
Which as I'm sure you can appreciate, is rather odd.

I can't comment on the condition of your particular car but the assumption that super low miles on a 2 year old car makes it as good as brand new is a ridiculous notion.

You could have 2 cars, a 2008 with 2200 miles on it like yours and a 2010 with 5k on it. By your logic, the 2008 would be the better car but it could have been driven by someone with no clutch or bladder control exclusively on badly potholed roads and without any oil in the sump. The 2010 car might have been driven sympathetically on good roads and been well looked after.

Like you said, you havn't seen it so can't comment in this case

This is such a ludicrous purchase. So this car is actually costing more than the cash price of a brand new example. - But you dont have the money.

Why not simply buy the brand new one on a credit card and BT it? This would cost you a very small percentage. There are cards offering 14-16months interest free at the moment. You could have had the genuinely new (as in, 2010) one for less outlay.

Then chuck a couple of hundred at it per month for the interest free period until it is paid off at month 14/16, at which point you own it outright, and it would STILL be newer than the car you own right now?

I guess you don't read your own posts then, if so, check the one where you think a 2 year old car is new.

Do you take everything written literally ? ..... Milage is almost as new, car is in as new condition. Drove like it on test drive, no marks, scratches...drives as new

But then your the guy who started a thread about a dent in his leather seat.....I'm not having a go, but i thought I was the troll here, it seems everyone wants apiece of the action

I'm no car expert, I'm a bike man..... Whatever appears here, I know wife is happy, and that makes me happy

Jobs a good un
