Also if money isn't an "issue" then why are you financing one of the cheapest almost new cars on the market?
What is the relevance on the car with respect to the finance.
He bought a £7K item, he didn't have £7K, so he financed it, what the item is is largely irrelevant, it could be any manner of cars, it could have been a bike, it could have been crack cocaine.
Lets face it, if he bought Moeks Jaaagg (Nice car btw.. I'm not knocking it, expect the colour

), it'd still be as poor a financing deal, it wouldn't change anything in my book.. Except I would agree with him that a 3+ litre Jag for his missus to run around town would actually be a pretty daft idea..
2.5K is not a lot of money, what
It isn't in the grand scheme of things, just look at a mortgage, and your eyes will water even more, but people tend to ignore this kind of thing.
It has taken a while before the "as long as your happy" brigade arrived.
Yet you are jumping in on the "oh look its the "as long as your are happy brigade" brigade".. As long as people are aware of the facts of the deal/finance/car then it's up to them to make decision based on the information we give, and their personal preferences/situations, trying to enforce your way of life/thinking etc on someone else is not a good thing at all.. so as long as they are 'aware' and happy with their purchase, it's not the end of the world, it's just not something you'd do or recommend..
I really hope these people you show around the cars, you immediately tell them how poor it would be to actually buy one, and educate them on what they should do, otherwise you really are being two faced and quite deceitful..
