win7 and defrag

if i go to defrag my c drive in win 7 (64) it analyzes it then defrags it for a bit (gets to 2%) then stops. why?
if i try it with other drives it just doesnt do anything (seems to analyze and thats it)

any ideas?

Boot into safe mode and try running the Defrag again to see what happens. Also try using another Defrag tool such as Auslogics. It's free and very good.

Try Defraggler by Piriform ?
