WTF! Woman Dumps Cat In Bin

Yes but thats Just to distract the Herd from whats really going on in the World.

Just because its emblazoned onto every Tabloid front page or some rinky dink media outlet dosent show that its good indicator as to wether people care or not.

The whole story is pathetic really its just stoking people up. It should have been a regional news afair at best.

What's your point? That the press are over blowing it? Of course they are...

But I assume your point isn't that we shouldn't care? A women was caught cynically torturing a cat, and in effect needlessly causing distress to other people (the owners). Why did she do this? For money? No, for no other reason than to be vindictive and because she thought she could get away from it.

Take the animal cruelty out of of this matter, she must have realised she'd be causing some innocent people (the owners) some distress, especially if the cat had died, yet that simply did not matter.

It's a very sad reflection on the mindless disrepectful behaviour of some people.

So yes, the matter of course has been blown out of all proportion by the press, but people are all over this story simply due the needless mindless vindictiveness of it!

This just in - the BBC is a "rinky dink media outlet".

I think your "Stuff people care about" barometer is on the blink.

Was it on News Night ?

Other than News Night , Radio 4 and world service most of the news on the BBC leaves a lot to be desired and though they may not be rinky dink they are often guilty of lazy journalism.

I remember when it snowed earlier this year and the BBC news covered it extensively as though it was a supernatural phenomenon updates every 10 minutes and exhorting people to send in photographs of Snow. lol

so I dont think that my "Stuff people care about" barometer is on the blink" is on the blink at all.

she says sorry for doing it,so thats ok isnt it

Yes If she truly is sorry then I forgive her ,after all what Neil Fawcett said about empathy should be taken onboard both ways.

I dont think that there is a member of this Forum who hasnt acted in an Impulsive and vindictive manner at least once in their lives.

I do think that it would be helpful for the lady to understand why she did what she did and learn from it and truly understand that it was unacceptable behavior.

I bet she feels like Joan of Arc right now. :p

It was a split second of misjudgement that has got completely out of control
If it was a split second misjudgement then why in the next ****ing 16 hours didn't she go back and help it?
I truly hope her life is permanently ruined by this.

Well, she's obviously got mental problems and needs locking up either way.

If I had to choose between two buttons, where one would kill a stranger and one would kill a cat, I'd pick the stranger.

So you would potentially kill the loving mother/father of someone, a great scientist who might make a great scientific discovery that saves 1000's, a great sports hero who may become an inspiration to others e.t.c. over......a cat?

sad

Thats just the Knee Jerk hang em and lynch em type response thats lazy and ill thought out.

Your no scion of the Tabloid editors thats for sure.

I'm sorely tempted to post that Kevin Carter picture in here to put things in perspective but on reflection it might be crass of me.
