Forgot to mention, this is my second ever build, first is in sig :)

Recieved the final parts for my new build today, spec is:

Corsair CX400W
Xigmatek Asgard
Gigabyte MA78LM-S2
AMD 635
Patriot Signature 2GB DDR2 6400C5 x2
Samsung SH-S223
Samsung F1 1TB.

Not Oc'd it as the rig is not for me, but may end up doing so anyway :P

Has anyone tried the ASRock N68C-S UCC GeForce 7025 that OCUK stock?
If they're any good then the next time I build a rig in this price range I might
use it instead of the Gigabyte.

Tried taking pics along the way but the camera I had was terrible they aren't
even worth showing. Will hopefully get some up tonight, but it's a very
standard build tbh. Stock HSF, stock case fan...replacing the stock paste
with MX-3 is pretty much the only thing I've done :D

When I set the res to 1900x1080 (windows 7ult 64-bit), the screen is partially
missing. To the left there is about 1cm of blank space, and I'm missing the
same amount on the right side. Anybody got a fix for this? Encountered it
before but forgot the solution.

Keeping first post for some pics, though they will be very boring. When I get the
acylic for my CM 690ii adv side-window (cut at home:)) will also post that here!

*edit* Couldn't get the I/O shield to fit earlier so took all the pins off hoping it
might help, I think I've made a big mistake! Stupid noob :D

***edit*** Cable management isn't brill, still got some sorting out to do, though
I don't think it'll improve much on the new build (but will in the comp in sig!)

PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D:D:D

Those cables look very black irl, lighting on the camera makes it look fugly!

Might be getting my side window and cables for my i7 rig, to make it look
a bit more pleasing to the eye. If so, will post pics here!

Btw, the reason I put pics of the expansion slots is because they are
covered when you buy the case, and you have to rip them off, which has
left silver marks on the frame :S

I was about to ask where that had gone. :D

See if you can grab your friend a cheap/half decent 120mm exhaust fan? I know it's probably fine without but a case never seems 'complete' to me without one...

How did you find the case to work on? I'm looking to get it with my build.

Any particular reason?

how much did all of this cost?
thinking of doing the same build with different mobo and athlon x3 440 once i get all the money i need.

Any particular reason you want to change mobo?

All-in-all the case is excellent for the price, plenty of room for a budget build like this.
Though like I said, the metal covering the expansion slots is stuck on, you have to
pull each one off, and then put the "normal" covering for the expansion slots.

It doesn't have loads of cable management, but then my only other case is a
cm 690 ii adv...though you shouldn't need more than this case has tbh, unless
you're running multiple hdd's/optical drives, or 2 graphics cards

As for the motherboard, the Asrock is about £18 cheaper, so I figured if it's of good
quality then I could save £18 next time.

Around £300, not sure exactly. Most of the components were bought here,
but not all

so thats what a matx mobo looks like in a midi tower case :D
sorry i havent seen a matx board in a midi tower before kind of new to this stuff, still learning.
