hey

i got my self a steelseries sx, its a aluminion mat, the problem is that it isn't flat,

its bent very slightly, so its like a seasaw so if i lean on the left, the right side up rise a small amount. is this normal & exspected or should i ask for a replacement?

also any other fixes will be helpful.

theres a little space where the mat meant to be gripping to the table, & i lean on that side the other side goes up by that much.

well the mat costs a bomb & i plan to use it over 2 years so i do want it to be perfect, i do have the right to be picky.

Course you should ask for a replacement. Why do people even make these threads?

You buy it, if it's faulty or not performing up to par then get a replacement. You don't have to feel sorry for SteelSeries, pretty sure they have more money then you.

Call me crazy here, but...

is your table flat?

Have you actually tried seeing if something known to be flat (like a T-Square or a Spirit Level) sits flat on the desk?
