This is just a fun story that happened to me last night, thought I would share and maybe some of you would get a laugh;
I’ll preface this by detailing some history of the girls dad, he sleeps very, very little. Everytime I come round he’s awake working, and last night for example he was working till about 2am.
So the girl and I went to a race night yesterday, we got in about the back of 1.
Being fairly drunk and fairly tired, we went straight to bed.
About 3am we were just nodding off. I was sleeping on top of the covers as it was fairly warm and cuddled into the girl like so;
Her bedroom door opens, a light goes on in the hall…
At this point I realise I’m also naked. This is quite embarrassing.
The door closes. The light goes off.
I ask the girl “What the hell was that?!”
She doesn’t reply.
Five minute pass, I get under the covers despite the heat.
The bedroom door is thrown open again, no light this time.
Somebody enters, they walk over to my side of the bed and sit down.
They take a long drink of water.
At this point I’m pretending so hard to be asleep its unreal.
I try to wake the girl, but she's having none of it.
The person now gets into bed beside me.
They lie like this for what seemed like 5 minutes.
My heart is pounding through my chest.
“Are they sleepwalking?!”, “Have they heard noises?!” I ask myself.
I concentrate on resolving my heart rate.
I can feel it vibrating through the bed.
The person turns over on their side and begins to spoon me.
We are “Throoning”.
Enough is enough I jump out of bed, over the girl to turn on the light…
This is the point I realise she isn’t actually there..
I’d been cuddling into about 3 pillows the whole time and the mysterious stranger to my right was indeed the girl having gone to the toilet in the middle of the night.
The time was 5am. I had been fast asleep for over 2hrs.
I just about died with relief.
