I'm sick of foreign people

There's plenty of less multicultural places than London in England, try the South West for a start.

OP sounds like a whiney little girl tbh

they are just people like you, maybe if you stop being so closed minded towards them you might start enjoying their company too?

Only non EU people. There are no restrictions for EU folk like my wife (Finnish).

Ah yes, thank you for the clarification, it was someone whose partner is Indonesian and as you say the EU free movement of workers would cover anyone from within the EU anyway. It does seem like a rather odd rule though, unless as I say I'm missing something obvious, it just means that people will have to live off savings and not be contributing through work for that period of time. I can understand that it might make it less appealing to immigrate here and that may be the intention but it doesn't seem like a very good way of doing it.

Shouldn't this be in Speakers corner.
Dave

It started off in SC but it looks to me a bit like a rant which doesn't fit either of the criteria for SC unfortunately so GD is the place for it unless it picks up and becomes intelligent debate.

Bristol might be a good place for large construction projects and it was apparently around 88% white British as at 2007. I know there is a fair bit of construction round there as my cousins partner is/was in that line of work - sadly for the purposes of people not liking foreigners he isn't from the UK.

If anyone not English born comes over then I don't really have a problem, were all made of the same stuff and all that, there are good and bad people everywhere regardless of race/religion etc. The one and only thing that does grate with me are people that sponge off of benefits with no intention of working when they are 100% capable/able to.

Any capital or large city for that matter is bound to be filled with foreigners, at least by tourists. Move out to Norwich or similar and you'll find yourself surrounded by all English.
London is indeed crawling with foreigners, but it is you who chose to live there.

The pantomime company had to cancel their production of Jack and the Beanstalk in Leeds, Leicester, Birmingham, Bradford and London. This is because the Giant could no longer smell the blood of an Englishman

:o

Call me new fashioned, but I am so proud of the fact our capital city is what it is. I love the fact that London is a beacon of culture and I suppose, even of multilateralism to the international community.

I don't have a problem with foreign people.

They are like me, just born somewhere else.

National borders and unreasonably highlighted differences are an obstacle to the greater prosperity and enlightenment of the human race.

Since the development of modern humans (including behaviours, language, culture, music etc.) over 99% of the history of the British Isles has been without us considered one country. People from one part of the island were "foreign" to the people on the other part, even just a few dozen miles away, and even warred with each other. How silly does that seem nowadays? How silly that we warred with people we considered different, but we now consider to be part of the "us". Well, that is going to happen with the whole of the human race soon. As we venture to the stars we are going to look back on our tiny home planet and the "differences" between the people that inhabit it, and see that in the grand scheme of things, we are very similar indeed.

I implore you to be welcoming to people of other races and nationalities.

Oh i quite agree.

The thing is dolph, the good majority i see are fit and healthy in appearance.. so clearly they cant all be unfit to work. Of course there are a number of legal reasons why they cant be allowed to work but it just sickens me to see so many getting a free ticket.

We should allow in those in genuine need ( persecution, fear of death in their own country ) as we are a modern caring democracy. Also those who wish to work and more importantly can PROVE they would be a benefit to us... as they do in Australia.

The time for wasters, lazy bums and scrounging country hoppers must come to an end. We all know it, yet nothing ever seems to change.

As for our own indiginous scroungers... why not make those capable of work do some community work to justify the handout. It would keep the work ethic going and would improve the appearance of run down areas. I would be quite happy to do a few days work like this if i were signing on.

Im sure such an idea would cause uproar and infringe so many human rights that we would have to pay compensation...

It really would help to keep those out of work in a routine, even if it were 2 or 3 days a week. I know from first hand experiance how soul destroying it can be, to be jobless and left on the heap.

I fell into a rut and my week consisted of nothing but job applications and moping round the house. I lived of savings and started the downward spirial of feeling down and eating to make myself feel better.

I managed to grab myself by the nuts and pick myself up again, and went self employed but i can see just how easy it is to get into a rut.

If i had been on benefits and doing work 2 or 3 days a week i honestly think it would have helped me to stay active and more work minded. Instead of slowly becoming a living potatoe.

Althrough i think the OP is a bigot of the worst kind and an idiot, i do however completely agree with you. But what you have a moan out is independent of race, it's a problem with the system
