I'm sick of foreign people

You live in London, one of the major multi-cultural cities in the world and you have a problem. Quit moaning or get out. No one is stopping you.

I live in North London in a VERY multi-cultural area. When walking down the street, it's pretty common that I will hear more foreign languages being spoken than English.

Personally though, what annoys me is that I've been in my local Morrisons as an example. I'm putting my stuff into my bag at the till and the checkout person is busy chatting to another checkout person across from them, but speaking in their own language.

Personally, I think that's wrong. They work for a large British retail chain in an English speaking country. It's one thing for them to be having a chat while serving customers, but to do it another language is not on. You could even go as far as saying that you don't even know what they could be talking about, they might even be making fun of customers (unlikely I realize).

I've said that I hate people who wear skinny-jeans.

Burkers are more stupid....

But religious freedom etc etc.]

[edit] ^^ AMAZING, great minds

WTF is a burker??...perhaps you want to learn what the correct term/spelling of what your trying to say before mouthing off eh??;)

BTW its Burkha

Ah, I typed that first, read someone else's spelling, googled it and didn't get a "did you mean"...

Touchy touchy ;)

I knew the OP was a raving lunatic from a post in his past but for the love of all things this post takes the biscuit.

I like to think this mentality is dying out :).

I was going to mention this, for centuries England has been "overrun" by those peski foreigners, we've been invaded , we've done the invading, good old England as you call it, went out and invaded the entire smegging planet, heard of a little thing called the British Empire?

England, many hundreds of years before you were born, went out and became a world leader in trade, multiculturalism, and well, murder and slavery aswell.

We actively went out to see the world and make friends, and enemies, rather than putting up a 50ft wall around our coast, that is good old England, thats one of the many reasons why a tiny tiny tiny little island is quite so high up the food chain in terms of international super powers.

Had England, in its history, cut itself off like North Korea, England wouldn't be regarded as anything more than a fly to swat when considering a war, world domination, trade routes, etc, etc, etc.

Thats what irritates me about, honestly, obviously racist posts and people mentioning good old England, england has ALWAYS had foreigners roaming its capital streets, England for 500 years before anyone in this thread was born had foreigners speaking other languages in the streets, but somehow its now new because theres a few more or you've decided to suddenly notice it more.

You've lived in London for almost 20 years, and its suddenly a problem?

As a kid, in school in London in a largely white area we had indians, chinese, japanese, eastern european and african kids in most of my classes.

I do think people are much ruder, more confrontational, less considerate than 20 years ago, but thats in general, black, white, asian, young, old, everyone. PEOPLE talk loudly on their phones and it pee's me off, I don't care what language they are speaking in when being rude, its the rudeness that irks me.

As for hearing polish when out and about, I can only see it as a good thing, I pick up a little polish and then when I can afford a cleaner, cook, and general maid, communication will be easier ;)

Nailed it, you and Meridian both. I should print your posts out onto leaflets and hand them out whenever I come across idiots like the OP - which unfortunately are quite numerous. Would save me a lot of hassle trying to explain a very basic concept which they tend to get confused at.

Haha skinny jeans are out of fashion. Now it's all about leggings/jeggins

Anyways; Burkhas are a part of Islam. If banned it would be pretty stupid, it's like banning Jews from wearing skull caps/or Sikhs from wearing turbans. Fair do's, it's too see who's behind the veil, it could be a man.

I see it more similar to stopping an entire nation from tying up and gagging their woman and dragging them around in chains to be honest... But as I said, religious freedoms etc. No matter how much I disagree with something I can't back a ban...

I swear I see guys wearing leggings/jeggings these days. Shoreditch is a funny place.

Live in a town if you don't want foreigners. I live about 45 minutes away from manchester in a fairly large town surrounded by country and everyone here is english. It's actually a great little town because it has two sides to it. One is the party-going pub crawlers on the weekends and the other is it being a little peaceful market town on a saturday morning with lots of old people. It's great tbh.

Or burqa/burka/burqua. It seems there's a few different variations that may be acceptable although we agree that burker isn't one of them. Of course it's quite possible that they actually mean just the hijab with or without the niqāb but may not know to distinguish between the types.

LOL. Men and women are equal in Islam. Where have these women been dragged around in chains? Please show me.

You can disagree, there is no problem with that. But, I think hate is too strong a word.

Btw guys also wear ugg boots, I mean seriously wtf?
