I'm sick of foreign people

If the british hadn't been to India do really think India would be the country it is now ? Say what you like about the british empire but we gave back to those countries we colonized.

railways, sewers etc and a legal and banking systems pretty much bringing them into line with the current british tech at the time.
Let's take a hypothetical situation, that 'White British' people were a minority in London. So what? Honestly. So what?

The following is intended tongue in cheek, before I get flamed
For many years countries such as India were annoyed that there were so many British in their country, so they're returning the favour, except they're not invading and attacking the locals :p
;)

Who's to say it wouldn't be better? We robbed the wealth out of that country right up until Gandhi.

They got benefits, sure, I bet they would have preferred their freedom though.

Sometimes when I go shopping all I can hear is Eastern Europeans , I could swear I'd been teleported to Krakow or somewhere :p

I don't really understand this rant. The only people I have a problem with are rude people. Some foreign people can be rude, some are not. Speaking a different language doesn't bother me in the slightest

For example, when I lived in Stoke Newington aka Little Istanbul, a ten minute walk would enable me to reach only one proper chip shop, yet over a dozen kebab shops.

Does that genuinely annoy you?

Really?!

The point I wish to get across is that in contrast to the way in which most European capitals contain a majority population native to the respective countries of said cities, London contains a minority of English people amongst its population

You've not been to Berlin then I take it? Or Paris? Or Amsterdam? (And yes, I know it's not the capital) All are full of foreigners speaking their own languages. Of course one important difference is that most of those foreigners have white skins, which I suspect is where you really have a problem, rather than the country of origin or the mother tongue. Yes, some capitals are bit more homogeneous. Those are places like Vienna; that is, less successful capitals. It's not a coincidence that the most successful places attract the most immigrants. It's also not a coincidence that the capitals with the most immigrants are the most successful. A capital full entirely of English people would be a place to avoid.

How many European capitals have you travelled to recently...? I travel around Europe fairly extensively with my work, and whilst walking around pretty much any capital city you will encounter a wide range of ethnicities and lanuages in addition to the 'natives'. Funnily enough - English is generally the most common non-native language being spoken, yet (apart from the French) you don't tend to hear too many complaints about foreigners 'jabbering' in English in their country.

I couldn't care less. I work at an airport and see loads of eastern european chicks come in on flights and a high percentage of them are hot!

I love a good letch watching them come off the aircraft, especially in the summer :D

For the ones that are not hot, they are lucky to come from a country where plastic surgery is cheap!

If I was the mayor of London, I would kick out the indigenous as they can't get along with anyone, and keep blaming johnny foreigner for being a problem ;) Simples.

Maybe you should do some research - how do you propose we prevent people coming here who have a legal right to do so?

i didnt say we could stop them i was pointing out that studies have proved there is no benefit from eu workers when you consider the local services beeing stretched even further than they already are in most areas.

Well in oldham ,

It's more a less "Pakistan 2" ---- 30% them being immigrate.
Polish people make up the rest...

But dont give a crap...

Oh please, the inference that railways and sewers is adequate return for plundering a colony's resources is just garbage.

Also rubbish is the notion they were built for the benefit of the locals, railways and sewers were built to make the colonisers' life easier not anybody elses.

What have the Romans ever done for us? ;)
