BBC News article on 4chan is today's most read story

Having had to suffer invasions by this group into a game I was involved with, I can sum them up very easily: Loud-mouthed, arrogant, immature yobs. Reading their forums gives you the idea - this is a group of people who believe an adult is someone who swears as much as possible and treats everyone else as low life.

AHAHAH

What a bunch of lowlifes! This is a prime example of why national service should be introduced - keep the toerags busy and doing something a little more worthwhile to help the community!

Ooh err.

ITV news ran a report on "internet trolls" last week, they deliberately didn't mention the names of these "troll sites" but had a screenshot that was obviously 4chan and you could read the text which started "Sup /b/?"

Internet site with 65million+ hits a day is blogged about by a news broadcaster, and then a good proportion of those 65million hits also hit the beeb.. and you are surprised it is the top of the "most read" list? :p

Thread title should be "BBC Linked on 4chan, now has lots more traffic... SHOCKER!" :D

Quite a fair article from the BBC and reasonably accurate, unlike some of their other "technology" articles.

This made me laugh, from the user comments below:

The fact they are anonymous tells me that they are cowards. It really easy to be offensive when you can hide in your mums house.
