well there is today supposed to be full details on the new cod . from the leaked videos ive seen looks like it could be next cod 4 (fingers crossed). whos waiting for this info , quietly excited ? or you think it will be ala mw2 .
 
Didn't know there was was one, unless this is the one from Treyarch.

As soon as I found out it is using the same engine as all the previous COD's my interest in the game disappeared. The coop campaign has also been dropped as well which is a massive let down for me.

I will more than likely still buy the game but I am not excited about it at all.
 
I'm planning on picking it up as it'll have dedi servers, but really not bothered enough to keep tabs on what's going on with it (ie: new trailers, etc.).

Why? Neither game looked bad.

Since it'll have dedicated servers i'll be keeping an eye on this, CoD4 was great on the PC
 
I have enjoyed all the single player COD MW stuff so far, and will likely get black ops purely based on that. I loved replaying the story lines, it's just so playable. Defo interested if the Multiplayer is as good though :-)
 
Maybe they reveal that yes, in fact the PC version does have FOV suitable for PC. That's the only thing that can get me back on the CoD train after the abysmal MW2.

This will be the 4th COD which will be using the same engine and its starting to show its age.

COD used to be at the fore front of first person shooters and their games always used to push the boundaries. But this is now not the case and COD has just turned into one big cash cow.


For me BF:BC2 has now set the benchmark for this genre. :)

Not at all excited. One day Kotick will just say 'this is our new strategy *ahem* game, to exploit gamers for maximum profit......erm I mean give them a great game or something '
 
I'm about as excited as I would be excited if I was going to find out how I was going to die

Sick of being fed this cash cow, modern quake crap.

Unless its a totally new engine with good physics, then I might eat my words
 
My Opinion:

Too many explosions
Too many gadgets
From the looks of the videos very close quarters/ mw2 like.

Unless when it comes out it turns out people like it, i'll pass.

I'm pretty sure he said that already. Can't get to the interview now because of the NHS filters, but didn't he explicitly say that Activision only has interest in franchises that can be exploited year after year across multiple platforms?

Congratulations Black Ops purchasers, you've bent over faster and farther than any gamer before you. Feel the pride.
 
From what I've seen it looks worth a purchase.

As long as there are community servers/mod tools then I'm in.

COD4 is basically dead now and I can only ever find a few WAW servers to play on.

Never really got into MW2 and BC2 got boring very quickly.

I NED SOMETHING TO PLAY!!!!
 
there is zombie coop in the game. have a look at this video if you watch although not greatest quality you can see that the movement guns and so on are more like mw than modern warefare 2 between those games there is a massive difference being cod 4 is still actually good and mw2 is **** .

also there is mod support from the launch

so in theory with dedi support aswell we could get a newer cod 4 which i dont mind as that for me is still best fps mutli about at the moment.

bfbc2 raised bar but it is plain and boring its not as fun to play as cod 4 .

if it is another mw2 then sure it will be garbage. thats why my fingers are crossed with all the lacklustre fps games that are available coming and at the moment.
