Looks a beast of the system, have you thought of a SSD.

What will the system be used for.

1TB SERIAL ATA 3-Gb/s HARD DRIVE WITH 16MB CACHE (7,200rpm)?
Go with samsung f3-1tbs
Go with a different power supply those AX1200s seem to be dodgy.
Seeing how your spending all that cash, why dont you buy an SSD?

What do you mean by the AX1200s being dodgy? Care to elaborate?

@ OP

I would buy a different CPU mate, unless you will always be using programs that utilise each and every core, that it's a waste. Do you REALLY need TWO 5970s? Really? And, do you really need 12GB of RAM? What is this system actually being used for?!

It looks a bit like the OP went into each section, and chose the most expensive product...

with the INSANE spec youve posted you must
hav money coming out your ears.

you should include a Solid State Drive in your build 100%
and run your OS from it.

goodluck building m8 with parts like that id be a nervous wreck:)

even with the cheapest 5970s (x2)
cheapest 6gb Corsair 1600mhz triple channel (x2)
couldnt find the HDD he got so added the cheapest 1TB (x2)

couldnt ven be bother adding the stupid stuff like memory card
reader and dvd drive lol

giving us a nice cool £2724.90 :O insane

Dont bother with the 2x 2GB 5970, to spend £900 on somethin thts going to be outdated in october due to the new 6000 series comes out.

If he says its going to be used for gaming, ill cry

I guess Tetris is fun, but I hate it because it is so unrealistic.

On the other hand, if you are going to spend this much money on a system, I cannot for the life of me imagine that I would ever do so without getting an SSD. A sizeable one.

Rather get two or three 480s in SLi, better scaling. Only problem about the AX1200 is the noise from the fan. Apart from that it's a brilliant PSU. Unless you're rich, get the 950, overclock it. 12gb RAM sounds insane...
What are you using the PC for? O.o
