I've just been sat refreshing someones FB page watching possibly the most hilarious yet pathetic argument ever. I'm finding it more entertaining than Jeremy Kyle.

Started between a girl and a boy who have recently split up, and now about 10 friends from each side are involved all calling eachother names etc, there are 105 replies on just one of 6 statuses.

Just made me think really "how can people act like this infront of their friends and family", I mean it's all in plain sight on their profiles.

What are your views on this kind of thing? Facebook has certainly provided a platform for online arguments etc, Would just be interesting to see what people think!

Couldn't see a post on this in search. In before cool story bro etc.

Considering most of the posts are full of swearies and you'd only see "you" or "off" between me blurring out the words there isn't much point lol.

What really annoys me is how many people are now using abbreviations :(

I used to think that net abbreviations were only for the leet among us. Now everyone uses them:

KMT - Kiss my teeth
BMT - Big man ting

as an example.

I thought BMT was a subway sandwhich?

Facebook, the new way to look like a tool.

I love it when you friends tell you to add them, and when you don't they get into a strop. It's like people are more private about their internet life, rather then real. :o

It's mainly teenage girls that make facebook awful. Most of my facebook female 'friends' update their status every 5 mins when they're online.

I really feel like saying 'Nobody cares', but I'm so unpopular that nobody will care :p

You would hope so RDD.

Petty squabbles on Facebook are often reported to the police these days and via the medium of 999 when credit on the phone is low isn't unheard of.

I will refrain from posting my true thoughts but needless to say it riles me.

People that do that should be charged for wasting valuable Police time.

but then that in itself takes up man hours. I guess you cant win some days.

I thought that was BLT
Bacon Lettuce Tomato.

Anyway, I no longer have that worry, I deleted my account last night :D

To quote another site:

This sub's name is the "Biggest, Meatiest, Tastiest":

Subway B.M.T. foot-long on roasted garlic bread. The "B.M.T." sandwich at Subway was originally named after the "Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit." Consisting of sliced genoa salami, pepperoni, ham and your choice of salad, it has become one of the chain's most popular subs.

Yum.

As for Facebook, public slanging matches are amusing - it beats trawling the HUNDREDS OF GOD DAMN BABY PHOTOS... seriously... yes we get it - you have a baby and you love it - now change your profile picture back to a picture of YOU and stop posting 100+ posts a day about how much you love him/her.
