OH NOES! He bought a DIESEL!

Very nice indeed Rilot, sounds like you got a good deal on it too. It's a shame about the engine I suppose, but none the less it's a nice car. I guess there weren't any 730is around ? ...I must admit I hardly see any, it's mostly 730d's or V8s. I'm not sure how well the 3.0 petrol would deal with the weight of the car though, it's a 2 tonne car after all.

I must admit, in your position I may very well have bought the diesel too ...if I wanted an E65 from a main dealer at least (I would have bought a petrol Jag though of course :p)

I wouldn't have a 730i. Far too thrashy. It was 730d or 750i for me. 745 and 735 too old. 740i pointless and 760i is a liability.

I really hope you're being sarcastic about the GTI.

LOL yes I am.

I find it hard to believe you can get so much cars for 15k. It is crazy that a FWD shopping cart with a couple of fancy badges costs the same as fantastic 3L limo.

Congratulations

I really like the 7 series in almost all guises. That looks a stunner for the money.

Alpina B7s do funny things to me.

Nice one. I disagree, I actually quite like how they look. However park an S-Class next to it and there's just no comparison for me. Though, saying that, an equivalent S-Class would be almost double what you paid, so great value for me money right there. Enjoy.

Nice one mate...

It was one on my list before I got my A8... I have to say that I still browse the BMW approved used page, the service I had in the past with them was superb.

Very nice car but to be honest I would find it very hard to part with that much money for a 3+ year old car with 70k on the clock.

You would have only had to spend an extra grand and you could have got your self a 07 GIT with 40k less on the clock

I bet you feel rather silly now:D

You'll feel silly when you realise you said git, a derogatory term, rather than GTI. :p
