Finally Picked up a 59 plate Civic Type R GT

Picked this up on Saturday - got it for £14,975 after 2k for my car

Very happy with it as its only got 2.5k on the clock and in lovely condition!

I realise a lot prefer other cars - but for me this was my favourite of the bunch.

What was your old car mate? and what milage / age was it?

I personally would have got a DC5 or stretched to an FD2 - but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless

Fair comment on the price lol - It was a 03 1.4 Ibiza with 90k on the clock

Problem is I really wanted it in this colour and that seemed to hold a premium

Likewise, and the lack of vision with that spoiler in the way would put me off, but I do like the overall look of them.

I'm finding the vision not to be a massive problem due to the massive door mirrors - you really can see a lot in them!

Never seen one in that colour before, looks good, but lack of rear view and the dash really spoil the Civic for me.

I think the reason the colour is rare is it was only introduced with 59 plates

Awesome cars - Got one myself! Quite underated in terms of driving experience I reckon.

You get used to the rear mirror very quickly and it really isn't an issue after a few hours in the car.
