Thats a bit shady taking all the UK stock. Its only £8 cheaper than a competitors priced HAF 922, it needs to be way cheaper than that for me to buy one.

Shame, i really wanted one of these as well.

Wasn't this priced at £59.99 incl VAT before?

Wouldn't want to spend more than that tbh, price too close to the 922.

Yep. It still looks like a great case, but more of a considered buy than it was.

Would be interesting to see how well it sells at that price, given the competition at the £70 price point. Probably helps that the 690-II Lite and Utgard are out of stock right now.

For someone who requires a mid tower, this is priced too near the 690 II. HAF 922 is full tower size wise, so I dont see it being closely priced an issue for people who dont have the desk capacity for full tower.

Too expensive now. at £60 it was a good buy. Now its just going into a different market. Seems more of a case of we have all the stock so we can charge a bit more now that we have no competition. I know its probly not but thats what its coming across like. Oh well back to looking at other cases instead.

Guys,

CM have not hiked the price on the basis of internet buzz. CM adjusted the price as they got the initial price wrong!

OC havent hiked their price either based on securing all the stock, their price falls inline with the adjusted and corrected price from CM.

OC had to move quick to list it, get it here for you guys and get a price out there but the initial price was a genuine error on CM's part unfortunately in terms of the first communicated price.

You are correct in that CM 690 II lite is out of stock and stock is potentially some weeks away yet based on HK shipment.

There is also nothing shady in taking all the Uk stock. He who moves fastest secures the stock and therefore secures the exclusive first Uk stock for you guys, the OC UK customers!

CM look to have shot themselves in the foot then. Advertising a product at a price that many deemed to be good value and possibly preparing to buy one. Good value + good product = win. And then saying 'woops. my bad. pay more' at a price that is stepping on bigger products toes aswell as their own other cases is a major cockup.

It also means that when (or indeed if at all) the windowed one does show its face on english soil, it will be close to touching the £100 mark. Not good.

Edit: + for those without free shipping means you are looking at £80 for the plus model.

The reason for the price error was down to a push from myself and OC to secure OC and OCUK customers the first initial stock, hence unfortunately there was some confusion on the CM end about the MSRP. Genuine error but one made with the best intentions of securing OC another Uk first on a new CM case.

Appreciate may not look good but when trying to set the market these things can happen.

As I understand from CM the only model coming to the Uk will be the 912plus as above. All other variants are EU models. If a window version comes available I will be ensuring OC get it first.

These will still sell out in super quick time regardless of the price discrepancy and OCUK and Ace Modder have worked hard to secure the first Uk stock for you guys.

Fair does. Nice one for trying to keep us up to date.

For me its more of a watch intently for now rather than an 'ooo buy now' now. Still hoping for a windowed model or at least someone to bring in buyable window panels like you can with the cm 690 as it seems odd on limiting choice to where people live... ey well. Its still a great case but for that money, there are better ones which is why I think people are taken a back.

Wait (quite) a few months for this week offers i think... xD

For me at £60 it was an impulse buy as it looks like a great case to mess around with. Think I'll sit tight for now.

One question I have for anyone who has access to the case. What type of connectors come with the 3 basic case fans (front back and top). Are they molex or controllable 3/4pin? would suck if it was the former as that front fan would be a gimp to replace.

So hands up who bought one of these, i see that it has 2x 120mm fan spaces at top of case, does anyone know if there is enough clearance to do push/pull on a 240 radiator?

I would presume that as per other HAF cases, they are 3 pin but come with an adapter for molex. Why would that front fan be a gimp to replace? I assume you mean that in a bad way but I assume the whole front of the case can come off to gain access to the fan.
