Been watching some videos of Tyson when he was in his prime on youtube and was wondering if Tyson met Mohammad Ali in the ring when they were both in there prime who'd win?

I say Tyson.

After watching the Tyson documentary I felt really bad for him, getting hard done by Don King and all but anyways on topic, I think Tyson would win.

Ali is someone you'd vote for with your heart. The head says that Tyson in his prime would have him on the canvas in 3 rounds. He was an absolute animal.

"My style is impetuous, my defence is impregnable and I am just ferocious..."

vs

"I'm so fast that last night I turned off the light switch in my hotel room and was in bed before the room was dark."

Tyson for me if it came down to those two - speed or style

I'd pay money to watch the street fight, which Tyson would've won. Heavyweight boxing, as ll boxing is dying. A lot of people seem to prefer UFC, can't say I blame them, considering the standard of boxing at the moment. Our generation of Boxing will die with Paccy, Mayweather. Forget the british Heavy-weights. What we need is the greatness of the super middle weight, Benn, Collins, and even Eubank.

Have none of you seen Foreman, he was insanely big, with insane power and a punch that could hurt anyone, Ali floated and had the skill and he had a speed that all those 10 best Tyson knockouts didn't come close to having, half of them are counter punching against slow opponents, Ali just wasn't that kind of fighter, and when he wanted to, he could take round after round of punishment, just punch after punch, yeah he dodged loads but he still barely moved.

I think the difference between Rumble in the Jungle and Tyson vs Ali, is Tyson would punch himself out quicker than Foreman did.

Tyson was an animal, but would think Ali would frustrate him, watch him burn out, and rip him to shreds afterwards.

Mike was in his prime when he got knocked out by Buster Douglas.

Reason why Douglas won, is because he fought smart, and slowly wore Tyson down.

Ali would have done the same.

We will never know for sure.

George Foreman was a very similar fighter to Tyson in some ways, Ali beat Foreman with ease. Could Tyson's looping punches hit Ali?

Probably not.

You had to back up any Cus Damato fighter to beat them, could Ali have backed up Tyson with his jab?

Probably not.

Me, I would give it to Ali based on the Foreman fight and Ali's wins over legends Vs Tyson who was fed over the hill ex legends and rookie nobodies. Ali had the height and reach advantage and the stamina.
