It's one thing to bash a spider with a newspaper after you spot it crawling around near your bed and it be over with.

But... To capture it, post pictures on an internet shop forum while toying with ideas of how to torture it, then burning it to nothing with lighter fluid and octane booster, completely ruining a glass... it's just not the behavior a 33 year old male should be doing.

We've all done it, but we were 8 years old in the playground with a magnifying glass. The OP IS a child.

Killing animals/insects/whatever with a car, let alone 40,000,000 tonne articulated lorry p) is actually pretty much unavoidable though. Taking the effort to trap a spider and plot its death whilst posting about it on a forum is slightly pointless at best.

Spiders are far more useful than people give them credit for.
