You should just have a 4 pin molex connector to the back of the DVD Drive now and that's looking good to go
refit the ribbon cable

sellotape mmmmmmmm ok for now lol

CPU cooler.... lets hope not :)

the coloured 1 is normally +
(-) is normally black or white or a common colour from all of them

power switch and reset switch doesnt matter + - normally makes no difference
led must be connected correctly to work

the more i read on the thread the more i'm getting confused lol
