Annoyed (forum issue)

Apologies but there is no forum for forum related complaints so had to post here.

I have been a loyal customer to OcUK, all the gear I have is from here and it's pretty much the only place I look for all things computer related.

The other day someone was advertising a Q9550 on the MM, I thought cool I could really do with that and so made a post to enquire what cooler came with the CPU for the price, a reasonable question you would think. I logged back in the next day to check if the seller had responded and found I had been banned for 'posting in the members market with no intention of making a purchase'.

So only just got back on now after my time away. Can anyone explain exactly what I did wrong?

2, the rules clearly state that all comments should be done via email through trust

MM rules are strict but frankly they have to be, kudos to the Dons for having the time and patience to enforce them or it'd be chaos.

Thats not 100% true.. Ive seen a lot of people asking questions on there about gpu stock coolers, or making offers. I recently sold a SSD on there and 90% of the messeges were about "will u accept so and so" "I can give you it in cash in person if you accept it etc etc" That was very harsh IMO.

Erm guys, this is what the OP said.

You asking too much for that rig tbh mate, prob not worth more than 200 notes in all honesty. You can get a laptop of similar spec brand new for that.
