***Official Halo Reach Thread***

Not had an xbox for a few years now, so got the reach console,
delivered this morning been playing campaign for a few hours now, so far so good :)
If anyone wants to add me tag is xxxtopcatxxx

Graphics are decent and it's pretty clear Bungie rinsed much as they could from the console. Some parts of the campaign felt disappointing and others surprisingly good, so overall hit & miss but still a great send off for campaign side of franchise. Guess I'll have to check out multiplayer tonight to see what all the fuss is about. :)

Have you played all the Halo's? if so how would you list the games in order of preference now that you've finished Reach?

I'll just use Krono to bombard him with invites, he caves after about 2 hours of harassment.

Woop! I'll have to do a quick campaign bash when I get home but then it'll be MP time.

Games shouldn't be released mid-week, I get FOMO and it kills me.

Yes played them all and completed campaigns far back as Combat Evolved :) I don't have particular order of preference fas as campaign concerned, each game had it's own merits as the storey spanned the life of two consoles, with exception been ODST which was dire and extremely short.
 
Just got home and yayyyy my copy of Halo reach was sat on my bed...just opened it up and about to stick it in to play some SP for time being until i finish it then look at playing some MP.

Also got another email with another code from the place i ordered it from...

If you just want to spend a small ammount, sainsburys had a load in for £34.99

Got the second e-mail too, but no sign of the box :(.

Any clues as to who delivered yours? Regular RM, or PF or what?
 
Been of this solidly since 1. Loving it. Playing on Heroic in SP and am finding the difficulty about right. I'm the master at taking on Hunters though ;) It's awesome.

Been playing most of the day also doing heroic it does seem a bit easy. Dont get me wrong ive died quite a few times but that was down to dumbness:p

Some well placed grenades have killed bunches of enemies just when the jumped out of the carriers. I also found short burst with the standard rifle is pretty damn good.
Retreat if you need to so your shields go back up.
