So ive owned a 9800gt for around two years now pairing it up with dual 4.0ghz e8600 oc and 4gb of ocz gold ram

I play a lot of ARMA2 (online with custom mods) and GTAIV etc.

M ARMA2 screen went black and normally you have to restart the game when this happens, but i had read a guide to get out of this black screen and resume gameplay, I alt tabbed out and back into the game, screen still black but now i could see my cursor, i then pressed ALT + ENTER which minimised my ful screen window, and pressed ALT + ENTER again which brought my back into full gameplay!!

My game then crashed, my resolution went massive and all my icons, images menus etc went blurry and out of color and focus! - and ever since it has been like this!

I have tried to uninstall my Nvidea drivers, the problem is still here

I have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled, no luck

tried system restores, no luck and tried to remove and clean the card and reinsert, no luck!

is it time for a new graphic card ? or is there a problem with my system, Im looking at a £130-150 GTX460... any ideas on which make etc.

cheers

M

Back up your data and reformat your pc....

Install latest drivers for your Video card.... you should be good to go

HANG ON!!! Custom mods eh?? Hmmm, rather than trying the above.... (although it may be too late) unistall your Arma 2 + mods, and reinstall the game with out the mods...
