Not now, back when you could only get one you had to make the right choice and defend the console to the hilt.
I play all the great games I can, I couldn't give a monkeys what format it's on, nor whether it's considered a competitor to any other game I like. Doing otherwise is just stupid IMO.
I think a lot of the hatred towards the xbox was purely because it was a microsoft product and it was/is cool to slate them, at least that would be my perception of it.
Golden Post. Pretty much sums up my thoughts.
I enjoy watching Fanboys defend their platforms honour though. It's hilarious!
This. Someone buys something they have to justify their purchase. Its maybe just a recent thing but i dont remember anyone arguing when i was younger about their snes being better than someones mega drive or anything like that.
All I know is that, the Amiga had Test Drive and that was enough for me.
Yeah I was quietly jealous of my Amiga owning friendsI loved my ST but always kinda wished I had an Amiga

Hmm I have lived through the snes/megadrive battle, saturn/ps1/n64 battle, dreamcast/ps2 battle, ps2/xbox/gamecube battle, xbox 360/ps3 battle.
No matter how old you are, how much you earn, what you do for a living you will always have one console you love more. At high school I saw lads acutally fighting over which game/console was better.
How come you have not grown out of this then? Not now, back when you could only get one you had to make the right choice and defend the console to the hilt.
