Who's buying R.U.S.E.?

I love the look of this game but I just found my small brain to be overwhelmed by what was happening. I just went through the tutorial motions but never really understood what I was doing.

I've got it but not had a chance yet to play as it only got unlocked on Steam last night. I pre-ordered it months ago when it was scheduled for early 2010 release.

Wish I didn't have to go to work..! :)

I really wanted to like this game but after playing the demo a few times I am going to give it a miss. Untill it hits the Steam bargain bin anyway.

Well I've just got hold of starcraft 2, and Civilization 5 is nearly upon us...

So I dont think I will have the time for this game

Not really a fan of RTS myself, but I have to admit that watching some videos of it , the game engine looks terrific. Having said that, its not a title I will be buying. Civ 5 is imminent now and that will be using up all my strategy gaming time for the foreseeable future :)

Bought it a couple of weeks ago on pre order from Steam after playing the Beta and Single player demo.

I think the game looks great and play great, especially on an eyefinity set up over a 6048*1200 resolution.

It unlocked today so will be playing some more tomorrow of the full game, no time tonight.

Didn't respond to this as was busy playing it all da yesterday...brilliant game, fast paced, hard work (in a good way) and well worth the cash!

With Civ 5 around the corner I don't think I'll bother. Haven't tried Ruse but looks like exactly the kind of RTS that'll cause me rage.

Fun so far - having a few graphics issues with my 5870 though which is kind of annoying given it isn't exactly the sort of game that should tax it.

Running fine on a 5970, on medium settings overall and 2* AA. Normally find that with my 5970 having high AA is likely to cause me issues.

Played a couple of the missions last night in the campaign, really enjoyed them. Love the simple control mechanisms. The camera views are excellent and really show of the graphics. Can't wait to get further into the game, but not got much time this weekend.

Ok managed to sort out my graphics issues - my 10.4as were running faulty - switched the 10.7s and everything is good.

I must say that despite a few problems, this is one of the best pure RTS games I have played. In terms of strategy, you really have to be constantly on your toes, gambling on going for defence, air superiority, tanks vs anti tank etc.

Surprised this isn't getting more attention tbh, this game is haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard! With a capital H!!

I keep getting my ass whooped, even in the Challenge missions! It is tough.

Air superiority seems pretty key. If you dont have that you will lose your ground units fast.

Personally I like to get enough GIs/anti tank in place to defend my base and expansion and then try and build up a massive fighter/fighter bomber force and take out the enemy wherever they pop up.

I am looking forward to reading other strategies when people start to mention this game more.
