Has anyone noticed any difference in gameplay when having the eye-cam at the top or the bottom of the TV?

It has been out for two days.. Don't have much patience, do you?

was thinking the same......

and Move already has some rather decent games out, or out in the next few days.

Sports champions
Resident Evil 5
Heavy Rain
Tiger Woods 11

Give it some time, sure more and better games will come along

My GF has bought me start the party, as its prob the easisest for a group to play, it aint no master peice but its great fun. It reminds me of the some of the old Eye toy games crossed with a wii game. One nice thing is that it shows the difference between the move and the wii, the fact that you are on the screen and the wand turns into what ever you are Using. For example it may be a mallet, a pick axe, a fan, a sword etc, all being tracked spot on while you look like an idiot on screen. The party mode is quite fun, i like the way the loser can draw all over your Photo is quite fun, like i said its not a brilliant game but shows what this can do compared to a Wii. BTW its pretty simple for Trophies got 48% in an hour or so without trying lol.

My brother and I both bought the starter pack, sports champions and a second controller each and were both very impressed. The difference needed in motions compared to the Wii is quite something. Playing table tennis i was trying the typical "waft it kind if in the right motion" technique that works perfectly on the Wii and i missed the ball almost every time. If the ball is going left you actually need to move left. just turning the bat back hand and swatting wont work.

We also had great fun in Disk Golf and Bocce. with the only real downside so far being that you cant online multiplay. I could understand it for Table Tennis but the other games wouldn't be affected by any interweb lag.

We also tried out the Heavy Rain Demo which we both liked, though it took a littyle getting used to. I've had the full game waiting to play for 3 months so im going to wait for the move patch now.

Also we tried Tumble and while not sure first time out, really really enjoyed it when we came back later. So much so that it got bought on the PSN. Essentially a more elaborate kind of Jenga with different game modes. only for the most part you are placing the geometric shapes rather than pulling them out.

For me Tumble and Table Tennis are perfect examples of why the Move tech works so well, Disk Golf and the other games in Sports Champions also felt accurate.

If implemented well Move might just get me playing FPS on a console for the first time in my life.

Agreed, heavy rain was tricky at first with the move controller, but wasn't the game perfect for move..?? I've got the full game and me and the gf are waiting on the move patch until we play it, like you had the game for around a month but once patched we'll play it through with move controls..

Hi mate, sorry for late reply. It goes to about 4.5". :(

NP mate and thanks for the reply, at least I won't waste money on one whilst I have this tv.

@iv-tecman - do you control RE5 with one move controller and one navigation controller? My charger base and nav controller have arrived this morning but am waiting for RE5 to come still.

*EDIT* - bit lame that they haven't enclosed a wrist strap for the navigation controller. It has the fittings on the base like the move controller but they just haven't sent one. I guess it's because you don't have to wave it around like the move.

Resident Evil is controlled by both the navigation and motion controller. You walk around with the navigation controller and you aim and shoot with the motion controller. You shake the motion controller and it pulls a knife out for a melee attack. tip the controller to the side and it reloads the weapon.

And yeah, gf complained about the lack of wrist strap missing for the nav controller. She used one from her Wiimote controller.. lol

We only played it for a few minutes (till you start looking around the crime scene with the cool glasses) but once you got used to it it did feel ok. My initial problem was that i was playing it like the wii. So when it was saying to move the controller left during the fight it was constantly banging it left which of course isnt needed. I was playing i like a furious maniac and it was too much effort, once i worked out that you didn't need to do that it clicked very easily.

M'off to play Tumble :)

EDIT: on the subject of write straps i havn't attached mine because of the kittens, they are at the stage of hiding anything that they can get in their teeth which would definately include the strap and its attached controller. Despite that, i've not felt like the controller was going to slip from my grasp even while manically fighting in gladiator. It fits so much better in the hand than the wii controllers.

Ahh thanks for the info. Another thing is that I am kack handed (left) and would prefer to hold the move controller in my left and navigation in my right. Does it flip the character on screen too or does it just default to right handed view only?

I've not tried this...I'm left handed but truthfully I played Heavy Rain and resident evil using the motion controller in my right hand..

Oddly I played table tennis with my left hand and I've just got High Velocity Bowling (move enabled BTW this game is solid and every bit as good, if not better then the Wii bowling.. Less childlike as well) and played this left handed..

i'll try resident evil left handed and let you know

The more i read this thread, the more i want Move.

Damn you guys!

Can't resist any longer....

lol go on you know you want it... Just leave enough funds in your gaming budget this month for f1 2010....

i'm off work for two weeks, forced leave as I've not had any time off work this year so far, plus I wanted this Friday off for F1 201, so I've got lots of time on my hands, so Move is getting some real hammer. just waiting for the controllers to recharge... They last about 8 hours. considering how much i've used it, arms don't ache that much...

Although, at this rate will be losing weight... lol some of the games can get intense and you jump around like a right idiot and sweat.... lol good for you.

I am still waiting for my £9.99 copy to arrive. :) The charger for the controllers is really solidly built and thankfully comes with a power adaptor rather that stealing a prescious USB.

@iv-tecman - thanks in advance for checking. Us lefties will take over the world one day!
