Amazing picture for everyone

Have you ever wondered how much humans dominate the planet?

Here is an amazing picture which might put into context just how much of the planet we occupy.

Logically, where there is light there is concrete, buildings, cars, people, noise, pollution, and waste.

Whats especially amazing is Europe and America being a sea of light. Really showing how much of the land mass is developed.

Either way, they are cool pics, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

I was actually more amazed by how much of the planet is not bathed in a sea of artificial light.

It highlights (pardon the pun) the disparity in wealth between the US, Western Europe and the rest of the Globe especially Africa and central Asia.

Pretty crazy. I wonder what kind of scale the little dots in africa and austrailia are in reality. Small villages surely?

I always find it interesting to see the path of the river Nile so bright in amoungst the deserts of Egypt...

Aswell as the dark patch in the Scottish Highlands which reminds me there's still some nature to be found around here!
