Just because something happens a lot, doesn't make the individual cases sad. Feel free to post a news story about Romanian orphans if you feel so strongly about it, and I'm sure you'll get a fair share of sympathetic people.

When there is horrific stuff happening to babies/children all over the world. Imagine being born addicted to crack, or even worse, being born in Brixton.

you dont see that its a tragedy for a child to be orphaned at such a young age ?
You keep banging on how great it is to be born in Australia ! it isnt for all its citizens you know !

how can you not see whats heartrendering when 2 new parents travelling home from seeing their baby get in a car crash and die, and so leaving their new baby without parents.
Thats not tragic? Yes I get there are other sad cases out there, but this is one also.
Obviously as you say, you dont get it. Just dont question other people who do!
