Installing case fans

My antec mini p180 has arrived as well as some sharkoon silent eagles. I have removed the HHD cages so I can install two fans at the front of the case, but I don't know how to install them :confused: They come with 4 rubber bolts and 4 fan screws, where do the screws go? :o
 
You use either the rubber bolts or the screws. The silicone rubber does a better job of isolating vibrations being transferred into your case. If you can use them, do so.
 
The washers probably go with the screws and would be used if you couldn't use the silicone rubber bolts to provide some vibration isolation, I'd imagine.
 
Tealc is correct. Washers only used with the screws. No need otherwise.

edit: if they're thin rubber bolts, put them on and screw throught them placing the washer on top of the rubber then the screw through both.
 
I think I might have solved it, you put the little washer near the head of the bolt then once it is all lined up pull on the end hard which creates pressure and locks it in place.

(I am aware there are many innuendos in that post)
 
Oh my lawd, mods please close this thread, i have just realized the instructions are on the inside of the little cardboard strip that the accessories came in.
What a stupid place to put them :o
