I'm going grey

I started going grey at around 20. I'm 25 now and I have loads of it. Not bothered in the slightest though :D

However I have noticed my hair has started to thin out a little at the front... now THIS has got me freaking out :(

Meh, I'm going grey and I'm 21...Not fully grey but flecks of grey on the sides.

Can't say it bothers me much.

my dad only hads about a dozen greys and he is 63, i'm 31 in november and don't have any though i do fear i can see a recession coming on :(

I am 27 and gradually going grey but it doesn’t bother me to be honest. I am looking at it as distinguished :)

As already said could be far worse, could be going bald. Its been on the cards for me, my old man is a silver fox and was grey/silver by 21 therefore I am doing well :D

I've had some silvers since my mid 20's and quite a few more now I'm early 30's. I'd just leave them to be honest. You'll only look like the guy out of the Just For Men advert, especially if you have to use the "for beard and and musstash" stuff as well :D

i know how u feel mate,im 27 and ive been going grey at the sides for years just getting worse and worse, i just try to keep it as short as possible, doesnt help ive got black hair stands out even more

I'm 28 and going grey. Its been going on for years and is getting worse and worse. What are some good solutions people have tried or know of? Also my hair grows lightning fast so wouldn't dyes quickly show grey roots like brunettes that bleach?

thx for any advice

Sux.

Im bald.

Keep it imo, I started going grey in my mid 20s, now a couple of decades later it looks absolutely wicked :D

Got the whole george clooney thing going on, better than being bland brown or boring blonde etc :)

Losing it from the front or back? And are there actually treatments that work? I like my hair :(
Losing it everywhere.

Treatments that work include the drugs minoxidil and finasteride/dutasteride. Dutasteride does the same as finasteride plus more. Minoxidil works in a different way so can be combined with either finasteride or dutasteride, and isn't usually as effective.

Finasteride/dutasteride are designed to reduce the size of the prostate and are very powerful drugs. Some people get temporary or even permanent sexual side effects from using them. Some people will get mild hair regrowth, for others it just stops hair loss.

The most effective way to deal with hair loss is to have the hairs put back in. It's the most expensive and invasive way, but it will work. It will cost £3,000-£10,000 for treatment, and it's what I'm planning to have!

This is the issue with using Just For Men

My dad went to Kenya a few years back and the locals he was staying with saw it as a mark of great age and wisdom that he had next to no hair and a white beard.

Funny how these things work, huh?
