Curvy Women your opinion on them

I love how men have a dress size range they find acceptable, would these people turn down a really attractive women if she was a size 16 but their limit was a 14?

It is a ridiculous way to judge a partner, lets be honest who is going to stand in a bar, strike up a conversation with a girl and say:

"Before we go any further can you tell me your dress size, I need to check it is my acceptable range."

Way to go to stereotype !

Size 18

If she's a fatty then being a fatty is no problem in my book.

Personally, id say thats more curvy than fatty.

I'd say that's more fatty than curvy.

Problem is that young and curvy/fatty turns into middle aged and fatty/obese!

If you are looking long term always best to go with slim girls who have a fair chance of staying that way as they age.

I wonder if we are more likely as part of nature to chose partners similar to us? When you see a big girl she normally has a big guy as a partner, whereas thin girls tend to have thin guys, etc etc.

worst disgused "Mrlol only likes her because he's a fatty too" post ever.

Look at the stomach area though, too much front butt!

Now look at this stomach:

Much more pleasing.

too aspirins on an ironing board ? no thanks !

Quite.

My experience when lads come face to face with a chest like that isnt that they turn her away because she's a size 18 and they only date size 14 and under lol

That's clearly fatty, not curvy. You can see large amounts of excess fat around her middle.:(

Again, curvy is not another word for "carrying some fat", it's a body shape. You can be slim and curvy.

Ive only dated women under size 10 but then theyve all been 5ft 4 or shorter and curvy. Curvy isnt about size, its a difference between waist and hips. Seems a lot of people think fat = curvy...

Edit: I dont have a limit or anything, just happens that i prefer short girls

I think it's a bit simplistic if the suggestion is that it's mainly down to men that women feel they've got to conform to a particular bodytype to be beautiful. Sure there are some men who are just plain unpleasant about women who don't match their ideals, misogynistic in a way but women can be just as harsh or even worse in their judgements and in some ways less restrained when passing comment. There are accepting men as well as accepting women in relation to beauty - there's lots of people that I'll never find attractive but I'm sure someone does and I'm rather grateful for the diversity in the World that allows it to be the case.

I'm not so much saying that its down to men.

Just that men seem to have a a very strict stereotype as to what is considered attractive.

You only have to look in this thread to see the number quoting they would never date a woman over a certain size.

But the inverse isnt true. Look at male celebrities that these forums repeatedly berate over their size like chris moyles. He only split up with his girlfriend because he wouldnt marry her and she wanted marriage, and she wasnt "fat" at all. There are plenty of large men with small women, but not many large women with small men, unless those men are black - who dont seem to be obsessed with the same stereotype as white man are.

In your oppinion. The word refers to a specific round shape, it has no specific requirements for a flat stomach.

Different dictionaries have different meanings but several of them mention the word voluptuous in their definition

A word that implies anything but a specific proportion that you suggest.

I wonder how many posters here prefer bigger women but feel the need to conform?

judging by the attention girls with cleavage on show get on a night, a significant %.

Define curvy.

If you are using the term "curvy" to describe as is often the case, fat birds, then no thanks.

If by curvy you mean a woman who has a nice shape, then yes please.

I really hope there's a push to move away from the size "0" mentality, I miss the days of "hello boys" being normal! Now it's more like, where are they?! Or, woah, that was a girl?!

She wasn't curvy though, just a wonderbra making her look like she has boobs.

If curvy means larger in the right places then Im all for it. You certainly wouldnt call Monica Belluchi curvy would you!? (Id call her just FIT).

curvy and fit -
