Theres a Maserati 4200 Cambiocorsa going through a liquidation auction this afternoon with a low reserve.

Silver and blue leather 50k miles supposed to be a nice thing. In need of the last service but otherwise full history.

I might just go mad and have a go at this, do me for a few months till after christmas then move it on for a few quid :)

That could be very expensive if you take it to a dealer. Even specialists seem very expensive in comparison to less exotic stuff like Porsches. You're almost into Ferrari territory (I think those ones were first ones to have shared components with Ferrari, although I could well be wrong).

its has got the Ferrari engine.

However its a 54 plate and my mate who's auction its going through has told me what i can probably nick it for ;)

Cheap cheap.

Go for it, these things sound awesome, had a blast through the Manchester airport tunnel in one ages back, made me want to cry like a little girl.

Definitely do it. If you're getting it for buttons, you can only lose buttons and it's probably worth more in bits than what you're paying for it anyway.

I never post up how much before i get a bargain in case i bock myself, but if i get it you will be surprised at the price :)

Have you had a maser before? Would love a gran turismo - one of the best looking cars in the world IMO.

I can take the Bentley off your hands if you want Mark :D

Go for it if you're not gonna lose much on it, would put a smile on your face!

When does the ban finish btw?

2nd October, into the home straight now :)

Got my bid ready for the liquidator for when he arrives, lets hope he takes it and decides to pull it from the sale, he saves and i save, i love a bargain :)

Gotta be done if it's cheap cheap and good! Sell it on for a cheeky new year bonus!

You may as well go for it if you think you can sell if for a profit. Servicing will be very expensive, as will insurance. When I was looking for a new car a did an insurance quote for one more out of curiosity more than anything else. The best quote I got was £27k lol (I had only been driving 2 years at the time). Needless to say I didn't buy one.

Obviously I would look at the car before you buy it. Many of the older ones I have seen do have a tendency to rust on the rear wheel arches.
