if he wanted to jump he would have done so by now. hes more likely to doze off and fall rather than jump now..

alright then how about a grappling net gun that simply bags them up? or some kind of fast drying foam?
at the end of the day i think most people would agree that simply 'talking them down' is not cost effective nor is it a deterrant to stop other people drom attemtping the same bulcarp. it is expensive, the police could be deployed doing far better things.
i mean when you get tasered, do you just fall to the ground? i take it you cant physically jump?

you will probably find people are making light note of the situation.... but seriously he is a douche, helps being offered, and has been for over 24 hrs now. hes just being rather selfish but thats just my opinion

It's the will of one million people being crushed by the attention seeking of one. Nothing more, nothing less.
After this is should be made clear there'll be more immediate actions taken should such a situation arise again. Which it will.

Someone on the verge of killing themselves doesn't stand on a bridge for a day. They either go there and do the job properly or they climb down a few hours later once they chicken out.
