Just how big is ocuk's warehouse

Right the points I would like to make are.

1. We have a great stock management system. Both software wise and phsyically. You may look at any items delivered to you from us. There is a sticker with a barcode on each item, these relate to stock ID's there is a 6 or 7 digit number under the bar code in quite small text. This is a unique reference number, thus enabling us to track items successfully.

2. Our warehouse does have lots of stock, accuracy is tight, however on odd occasions stock maybe misplaced or cannot be found. Human errors can occur.

3. We ship out thousands of orders a day - having that kind of turnaround can result in minor stock errors from time to time. Again human errors can occur.

4. On the whole we do ship over 99.5% of orders that were placed each day where the website shows we have stock. Again human error can occur.

5. If you are desperate for the stock - we can look at obtaining more if you require it.

Their warehouse is huge. This is a picture i took recently while there.

If you can give me your order number, I shall see what I can do for you, and find out what is going on with those components that were on your order.

Also if you ever have an enquiry with an order feel free to post here:

I am usually cruising and helping most guys there. :)

I'll email you my order number tonight. As I said, I;m not mad, I just found the excuse funny.

The item stock being wrong I can understand but "can't find small items in a big warehouse" is a new one on me :D

All valid points and I suspect your stock system is better/more accurate than ours at work (we seem to have quite a few items showing as minus stock at any one time)

And yes, it was probably a case of the system showing stock when the shelf is empty. I just love the excuse given. I wish I could remember what his name was.

I was at OCUK yesterday buying a sound card and the assistant said he would go and get it himself from the warehouse.
I thought it strange when he came back 30 minutes later with hiking boots on and walking sticks.

I didn't need the card in the end and wasted £37 :(
