I must be in the minority but those are utterly, utterly vile. Aesthetically horrendous.

I'm loving the front end of the car, looks brilliant....however to me the back looks like a hurst![]()
Widowmaker. Although I guess that was more the z3m.
Edit, wow - worldwide production numbers for the z3 coupe:
2.8: 7,671
3.0: 3,853
3.2M: 6,291
Very rare cars.

Whats the split of the 3.2M engine wise?
Mostly on the older or newer engine?
The early ones had the E36 Engine, the later ones had the E46 engine. For us simpletons...
Do the Z Coupes contain the E36 or E46 M3 engine in?

2001 onwards.Wow, what MY did the E46 version come in?
Only 7 minutes to late. Both IIRC. Early ones got the E36 engine, later ones the E46 unit. I think the change was 2001.

Was busy reading the thread ...
Assuming lack of sleep isn't making me crazy it wasn't the full house E46 engine - was about 20bhp down and only had a 5-speed box I think.
Yep, that's what I've just been reading. The change only managed to shave a couple of 0.1s of the 0-60 time, not that 0-60 is everything obviously!

It's not really that dangerous imo. Yes in the wet if I floor it it will spin, but it's not that bad. In the dry it's very planted, admittedly mine isn't standard though.
