One that made me laugh a lot was
'The average person over fifty will have spent 5 years waiting in lines'

Its just so true

5 years at 50 would be 10% of your life. At 100, 5%. So, let's call it 7.5% overall.

7.5% of your life in queues? Don't believe that for a minute.

That'd be almost 2 hours a day, every day, for your whole life stood in queues.

Unless i've done something astoundingly wrong in my calculations, that sounds like utter *******s to me.

I don't think it was made up on the internet, I was told that in a zoo when I was tiny, before the internet was anywhere near mainstream. It's a myth that's been around a long long time.

There are actually six states of mattter - solid, liquid, gas, plasma and a couple of other ones I forget, one of which is almost certainly Bose-Einstein condensate.

There are quite a few more now with the advances in quantum physics.
