Karl Pilkington - An Idiot Abroad

excellent ep, just wish gob face would shut his laffing up, does my head in so much, i cant stand the guy.

Was really funny when he said "the Taj Mahal was the only building in India with a bit of normality about it, maybe that's why it's a wonder." :D

Excellent episode yet again.

You know what dmpoole, you act as though you've never met anyone who is funny yet not intellectual. You don't have to be clever to be funny.

You haven't got much tolerance.
Gob face laughs for about 5 seconds and you are complaining.

Some people need a good moan. Even if it is about someone laughing for 5 seconds (if that).

There all favourites of mine, Ive listened to the podcasts/minishows/xfm radio shows all about 10 times over, doesnt get old, gets more funny with each time.

Absolutely love Karl, en suite shed was probably the best bit of the latest ep.

I worked on factories for 33 years and some of the most funny people I know couldn't read or write.
Not one of my mates would ever have been able to achieve Head Of Production for a radio station.

I want to watch the next one but its not available yet :(

Thought the first episode was great, almost as good as the podcasts.

It was XFM and he had a bit of experience and I think you're reading too much into the job title, he made the odd jingle and pressed a few buttons for various presenters, one of his monkey news chimps could have done as much.

Even with all the experience I had I would not have got a job as Head Producer of a radio station.
You make it sound as though they just gave jobs away back then - no they didn't.

How many 'Head Producer' jobs have you applied to exactly? Karl had worked in radio previously, plus we're talking about XFM here...

Also again, you are in your own head applying high social/educational/fiscal prestige to the job he did, which was pressing the buttons for some presenters and throwing the odd jingle together.

I think you're just getting way too desperate now looking for something to support your faux-Karl theory, you already fell flat on your face a page or so ago, maybe just let it go whilst you're behind? :D
