Afternoon lads.

A quick question regarding the clothing brands mentioned above.

I am thinking of ordering a few jumpers and t shirts from their site but am really unsure of how the sizing compares to the UK. About 2 years ago I had a Large hoodie and it was absolutely massive but looking at the sizing guide it suggests a large should fit me fine.

A little help before i buy would be great.

Thanks.

Go to one of their stores and see? Nobody can tell you how a particular piece of clothing will fit you. I mean i can get into a Small Mac coat in Superdry but their shirt i need to get a Large?

Even in the same brand, sizing can be different.

Unknown but I have noticed the store in Belfast is always packed, seems to be loads of youths ordering and buying masses of clothes from that store.
Clearly 15 years out of touch with fashion, can someone inform me as to why the late teen early 20s like this stuff so much? Is it label branding? Is it very wellmade? Lots of their gear looks like modified tracksuit casualwear design and not overly fashionable.

Same with Henleys, its the new Chav brand. I don't mind it so much, it means i can spot them miles away.

Superdry to is everywhere, a year ago they were just starting but now everyone has their T-shirt, as much as I like their clothes, I hate walking round looking like a advertising billboard.

Their clothes are very good quality for whats its worth. Hollister is just the teen brand of A&F and its more or less the same stuff but significantly cheaper. I would say the quality and fit is more or less identical as well.

Their Polos are very very good, the rest I'm not keen on.

Actually agree with everything you said - I try to actively buy clothing that isnt covered in logos. Kudos to A&F though, made a mint selling clothing thats just above average...

ps3ud0

depends what shop you go to the Newcastle store sells clothes that are no where near the quality of the london one , the shirts feel twice as thin etc

I guess you mean Hollister as AF only have one store in central london AFAIK.

Yeah their shirts are thin and made of synthetic materials, no good tbh

far longer than a year ago.

i had the original superdry coat when it first came out, the triple layer one. must have been 2-3 years ago now, loved it. 6 months later the whole nation bought it :/ ruined.

a friend of mine is a manager at a hollister. it's for kids. it's also the most fantastically amusing company i've ever heard tales of.

Rip off clothes which every "indie" kid is wearing these days, don't buy into trends :)

Imo ofc :)

Because everyone else is wearing it, trends and fashions etc, sure it was the same when you were a kid :)

I dont buy into it personally :)
