Eating foie gras is eating the liver of a goose, not a very nice thought but it doesn't stop it from being one of the best tasting things in the entire world though.
Regardless of this whole 'do they use the pink goo or not' argument, it's not like they are adding some alien substance to it, it's not going to ravage your digestive tract or anything - if it tastes good and you want to eat it then good luck to you, fill your boots.
