Hollister/A&F Clothes.

I recently bought some T shirts from threadless in the states. Checked the sizing chart against Topman (I fit a large T there) and ordered medium which fits perfectly. So size down I think.

far longer than a year ago.

i had the original superdry coat when it first came out, the triple layer one. must have been 2-3 years ago now, loved it. 6 months later the whole nation bought it :/ ruined.

Too true!
I also bought the original 'Brad' leather jacket back in 2007.

I barely ever wear it anymore because I can guarantee that I will run into somebody else wearing it. When you end up having to stand next to somebody on the same tube train also wearing it, and when three people in your department at work also have one... you know it's everywhere!

They had sold 70,000 of them with 25,000 on order, as of May last year, so it will be considerably more now!

If you look at their latest range now as well, they have numerous variations of what is essentially the same leather jacket.

As for A&F sizing. It tends to fit more true to size than a lot of American stuff, however some items can be quite tight fitting, as they are 'muscle fit'.

Bare in mind that with buying A&F/Hollister stuff in the UK, they ship it from the US. So you get charged at least £25 per order, more if you order a few items.

Got a few tshirts and hoodies from A+F and hollister. Hollister as mentioned seems to be more of a kiddy version, but tbh I don't care (I'm 23). They look and feel just as good, but are about half the price of A+F stuff.

Main reason I've bought them is the fit. I can guarantee if I like something in their shop I will be able to get a great fitting one. So many stores I have to try on every tshirt or whatever in each size as it's never consistent accross their brand, and even if I do get one the right size, it'll never fit as nice. I swear manufacturers think people are square boxes uptop with pencil legs down below!

Likewise, says superdry 07 on the back. I had people stopping me in the street to ask where I bought it. A few months later I looked like one of the usual sheep.

my stepsons a/f shirt is twice as rigid as his hollister one which cost half as much its clearly a much lower quality

Never bought any Hollister stuff...its not my thing tbh...but i used to have quite a few A&F stuff ie hoodies and polo t shirts but ive given about 10 of my polo t shirts away as they dont fit me anymore but have kept the A&F hoodies as they are absolutely brilliant for winter time when its cold plus the fiancee loves them as they cover her up in the cold...shes a tiny thing so you can imagine a large A&F hoodie on here...looks like a blanket.

I get all my A&F stuff or used when i go to Canada/America...far cheaper there than rip off UK.
